The tobacco used in the CAO Italia cigars is grown in the Benevento region of Italy. The CAO Italia is made of Habano seed tobacco grown in Honduras and combined with longleaf fillers from Italy, Nicaragua and Peru. These tobaccos give the cigar a bold sweetened flavor with an earthy tone.
