The H. Upmann Sungrown cigar is possibly the best new cigar of 2010 released at the IPCPR Show. It was released by Altadis USA and is made in the famed La Flor de Copan factory in Honduras.
The new cigar is highlighted by sun-grown wrapper leaves cultivated in Ecuador, which is known for some of the sweetest, most flavorful wrapper leaves grown anywhere in the world. The sun grown wrapper covers a carefully selected Broadleaf binder and a blend of fine Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers.
From start to finish, the H. Upmann Sun Grown is a medium bodied cigar offering multiple flavors on different levels. At the start of the cigar you can immediately taste the slight notes of red pepper. This cigar finishes with a nice creamy, balanced flavor note and makes you crave for more.
