Arturo Fuente Cigar Company was first started back in 1912. The Tampa based company was lost in 1924 due to a fire but this did not stop the Arturo Fuente Cigar brand. In an effort to pay off creditors, Arturo worked for other cigar manufactures until the 1940s where he, with the help of his wife and family, once again got back into the business of making cigars.
