Humidifier Beads - 1/2lb Bag

These excellent Beads are designed to maintain a relative humidity of 70%. The humidor beads are capable of both absorbing and desorbing the moisture inside of the humidor. When the beads sense that additional moisture is needed to keep the RH correct they give off moisture, conversely when they sense that there is too much moisture in the humidor they absorb the necessary amount of moisture to keep the RH correct.

This product has been used for many years in the museum industry, in fact the same product is in use at both the Smithsonian and the US National Archives to protect priceless documents and artifacts.

The Humidors Beads comes in both 1/2 pound and 1 pounds bags. Each 1lb bag of humidor beads will humidify up to 5 cubic feet of space. This product will last a lifetime and can go weeks between hydration.
